About Me

I have a Msc. in Telecommunication Engineering, with over nine years experience in developing embedded systems electronics hardware/software for aerospace and consumer applications. I started my hardware career at the company emxys – embedded instruments and systems in Spain, and in 2014 I moved to Cork (Ireland), to pursue a PhD in Wireless Sensor Networks for Marine Renewable Energy at the Nimbus Centre for Embedded Systems Research, while also working in hardware/firmware for WSN and sensors related projects in the centre. After finishing my PhD and a year as a postdoc, I moved back to industry and I work currently as a hardware engineer at Signify (formerly Philips Lighting) developing Li-Fi systems.
